This exciting complex of the deep is located in the restored waterfront district of town at Gardner's Basin and features fun for the entire family, with its eight aquariums and 10 themed, interactive exhibits. Attractions at the Atlantic City Aquarium / Ocean Life Center include a variety of tanks and the numerous underwater oddities that inhabit them, and various interesting hands-on exhibits, based on maritime themes and educational displays.

Rolling Chairs

A charming and easy way to see the Boardwalk and learn something of its history and attractions is to take a rolling chair ride. Atlantic City's Rolling Chairs have been operating for over 100 years and are a permanent fixture of the Boardwalk experience. Friendly guides provide narration with the trip, which can run for a couple of blocks or right along the Boardwalk. Prices will vary between operators and the Rolling Chairs in Atlantic City generally operate throughout the day and into the evening.

Steel Pier

Located in the center of the Boardwalk opposite the Trump Taj Mahal Casino, Atlantic City's Steel Pier opened in the late 19th century. Offering plenty of family entertainment and attractions, the Steel Pier is known for its many rides and games, including a custom-made carousel. The park was revamped in 1993 after a huge fire destroyed much of the pier's attractions 11 years before.
