Lake Louise Museums and Art Galleries

If you are staying in Lake Louise and have museums on your mind, then you will be a little disappointed, since the village itself has little to offer. There are however a couple of very reasonable art galleries within the Lake Louise area, which may well be of interest.

Northern Art Impressions is situated at the Samson Mall and is home to an array of Inuit art works, which come in the form of unusual stone sculptures, paintings and drawings. The pieces for sale here extremely individual and generally quite pricey, and also include north-west Coast Indian art works.

Alternatively, the Art of Man Gallery offers a selection of similar Inuit pieces, along with various paintings and even some high-end jewellery, and is located close by, at the famous lakeside resort hotel, the Fairmont Chateau.
