Re. Unspoiled
I know that you weren't claiming Lagoinha do Leste to be the best beach in Florianopolis or anything like that, but my favourite was Praia Mole - or Mole Beach as us non-Portuguese speakers might be more comfortable with. So easy to get to as well.

Unspoiled
I was amazed with how unspoiled the beach at Lagoinha do Leste was and there was so much more to do other than laze about on the beach, which I was more than willing to do if necessary. You'll see that there are numerous hiking trails and wildlife areas available for you to make the most of in addition to clubs and bars once the sun goes down.

Something different
Don't get me wrong, I loved spending time in the favelas when possible and seeing how the poor are made to live in Brazil, but the atmosphere can be a little overpowering sometimes - which is why an afternoon in Lagoa da Conceicao was such a breath of fresh air as the neighbourhood was quite affluent in places with lovely cafes and restaurants.

Paradise
The only complaint I would have about Campeche Island is that it is a little expensive. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent there and felt that I was as close to paradise as humanely possible. There is a big demand for trips to Campeche, meaning that transport is easy to arrange in either direction.

'THE' Florianopolis party place
Barra da Lagoa is where party animals holidaying in Florianopolis should be heading. We were there every night, and those that enjoy a wide pallet of music will be in their element here as we went to a club playing a different style every night - whether it be rock or reggae.
