Minas Gerais enjoys a relatively constant climate, with warm summers and extremely mild winters simply merging into each other. Belo Horizonte sees only a slight fluctuation in average daytime temperatures, which range from 25°C / 77°F to 30°C / 86°F or more.

Between October and February, early morning fog drifts in and out of Belo Horizonte at times, and when it does, it is often accompanied by short spells of rainy weather.
