Palma Nova Museums and Art Galleries
(Palma Nova, Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain)
There aren't many art galleries or museums in Palma Nova proper, except for very small boutique galleries with local art work for sale. The most impressive collections are based within Palma, which is only a few minutes' drive to the north.
The Municipal Museum has a thorough collection of Mallorcan artefacts. However, a tour of the island's great modern artists may prove to be more appealing, and one particular art gallery that can't be missed is the Spanish Contemporary Art Museum (Museu d'Art Espanyol Contemporani).
