Krakow Golf Courses and Clubs

Poland does not feature many good golf courses due to a definite lack of local interest and disposable income, although a handful of popular clubs do exist close to Krakow. Whilst facilities may be basic, the courses feature pleasant scenery and plenty of interesting hazards.

However, one of the highlights when playing a round of golf in the Krakow area is of course the almost obligatory glass of chilled vodka at hole number 19.

The Krakow Valley Golf and Country Club is around 25 km / 16 miles south of the city centre and features 18 holes covering approximately 7,100 yards. This exceptional championship course has become known for its dramatic Polish scenery and is also conveniently close to both of the airports at Katowice and Krakow. Keen golfers will be delighted to find an onsite academy, chipping greens, driving range and even a hotel, where related golfing packages are available.

Royal Krakow Golf and Country Club

This scenic, private course is situated just over 19 km / 12 miles from central Krakow and on the city's easterly outskirts. With nine holes, a round at the Royal Krakow Golf and Country Club can be as quick or long as you make it. Amongst the main hazards is a small stream, which meanders its way through the very centre of the course and passes a number of the holes.
