Eindhoven Airport (EIN) Information

(Eindhoven, North Brabant, Netherlands)

Photograph of Eindhoven's Philips Stadion football ground of PSVAmsterdam's Schiphol Airport is the only Dutch air hub handling more passengers than Eindhoven Airport, which serves the picturesque city of Eindhoven in the southern region of North Brabant. Most of the two million passengers plus now welcomed here annually board or disembark from Ryanair, Wizz Air or other low-budget direct flights to and from various European cities.

Formerly known as Welschap Airport between WWII and 1998, this facility is also where you will find the Movement Coordination Centre Europe and European Air Transportation Command aircraft. The current terminal is a relatively new arrival, being constructed in 2005 to accommodate up to 2.5 million people annually.

Numerous local aviation businesses and offices are headquartered at the Eindhoven Airport Industrial Estate, which sits next to this steadily growing complex, near the A2 motorway.
