Lincoln Museums

(Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England, UK)

Aerial picture of the castle prison complexThere are just two museums of note within the city of Lincoln, although many similar cultural attractions are to be found throughout Lincolnshire, in the neighbouring towns and villages of Louth, Newark, Skegness, Spalding, Stamford and Wainfleet.

In Lincoln itself, the Museum of Lincolnshire Life is particularly appealing and with free admission, there really is no good reason not to visit. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre offers something completely different and is filled with WWII aircraft, which are frequently used in flying demonstrations and aeronautical displays throughout Lincolnshire.
