Fitzwilliam Museum
The Fitzwilliam Museum is certainly an attraction that you must see. It has free entry, so there is no reason why you should miss out, and there are plenty of exhibitions to look at. The museum needs a whole day to look at it in full detail, because there is so much to see. With occasional lectures in some display areas and a cafe serving cake, light meals and beverages, you cannot miss out on this educational treat.

Walking along the River Cam
Don't miss out on a stroll along the River Cam. We had a very relaxing walk along the riverbanks one morning and passes several locks along the way. It was really pretty and a nice part of a busy city. Lots of locals were cycling along the river, or jogging. There were some seats on the way if you wanted to take a break and do some people watching.

Go for a Punt
You can't really come to Cambridge without going for a punt on the Cam. There are usually people trying to vie for your attention and compete to sell you a punting experience to remember. We managed to negotiate a little with one guy and got a really nice 30 minute punting trip. I'm glad we didn't try and do it ourselves. I don't think that it is as easy as he made it look, as a few people seemed to be struggled and crashing into each other. Quite fun to watch though! I'm glad we did it this way, because we definitely got to see more. Maybe next time I'm in Cambridge I'll be brave enough to have a go myself.
