Close to Antwerp and within Belgium's Finnish region, golfers will discover a number of popular golf courses worth playing a round on. The Ternesse Golf and Country Club is amongst the closest of all the golf courses to Antwerp and enjoys a pleasant parkland setting with a series of challenging water hazards and a total of 27 holes.

The ever-popular par-72 Bossenstein Golf Course and Polo Club is also close to Antwerp and lies alongside the magnificent Bossenstein Castle. A terraced area of the modern clubhouse provides outdoor seating and good views across the very first hole and beyond.


Filled with old and mature trees, the Cleydael Golf Club can be found within the Aartselaar area and is just a short distance to the south-west of Antwerp city centre. Several sandy bunkers and large lakes provide added interest here, while for a spot of history, head to the Royal Antwerp Golf Club. Dating back to the late 1880s, this is actually one of the oldest golf courses in the whole of Europe, although it has been modernised a number of times over the years.
