Re. Life inside a freeze box
The official rates are RM25 for citizens of Malaysia and just RM10 more for those who are here as tourists. This is the entrance fee post-6pm though, I'm not too sure what it costs during the day

Life inside a freeze box
Being that such conditions aren't common in these parts of the world, I understand the Asian obsession with snow and ice. Stepping into the SnowWalk is literally like entering a giant freezer and is worth a look if you are in Shah Alam. Not sure of the exact fees though, as we seemed to be paying over-the-odds.

Re. Simply amazing and years ahead of the West
You forgot to mention the theme park! Our kids loved it and, as we were in such a big group, some of the adults went with the kids while others enjoyed some shopping. Later, we all met up for dinner at one of the restaurants. There was a food court too though.

Simply amazing and years ahead of the West
We hired a car one evening while in Shah Alam as we wanted to drive ourselves to and from I-City. It was well sign-posted on the Federal Highway but hard not to miss once we got nearer given the beautiful lights and trees. This has to be seen to be believed and has something for everyone, shops and the Snow Walk and all the rest of it.

An interesting mix of different architecture
The Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah look interesting to me when I see it in my travel book and it was able to get transport to it easily. This has unique mix of local Malay architecture, Arabian architecture and also the architecture of the West and India.
