Shah Alam Landmarks and Monuments

(Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia)

The Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque is the main landmark in Shah Alam and is touted as being the biggest in Malaysia. So large is this structure that on a fine day, it can actually be seen all the way from some parts of Kuala Lumpur.

Apart from the big mosque, there are no real standout landmarks in Shah Alam, although there is plenty for families to see and enjoy. The Selangor State Assembly Building is certainly another notable sight of considerable merit, as is the Perpustakaan Tun Uda Library.
