Nagasaki Golf Courses and Clubs

A number of reasonable golf courses lie within the Nagasaki Prefecture and close to the city of Nagasaki itself, where good facilities, scenic views and challenges for even the most experienced golfer await. The Nameshi Golf Course is amongst Nagasaki's best golf offerings and is the only noteworthy golf course situated within the city itself. Boasting 18 holes and a length of almost 6,000 yards, the Nameshi Golf Course features plenty of hazards along the way. However, over the years the Nagasaki has gained a huge following and as a result, it is usually necessary to book several weeks ahead of your game, at the least.

Around one hours' drive east of the city centre, the Nagasaki Prefectural Unzen Golf Course is also worthy of a mention and has much to offer all levels of golfers. Located in the small and rather charming town of Unwen, the Nagasaki Prefectural Unzen Golf Course is amongst the most historic public courses in the whole of Japan and boasts a mountainous backdrop.


Further golf courses can be found within the grounds of the Unzen Amakusa National Park, being located amongst camping sites and hot springs, on the north-eastern side of the park. Within reach of central Nagaski, golf courses within the Unzen Amakusa National Park have the advantage of outstanding scenery and views beyond comparison.
