Spanish Architecture in the city
El Paso may be a Texan city, but it sure does have a Spanish and Mexican feel about it. A lot of the architecture around downtown is certainly a little Spanish in character, particularly along the El Paso Street. This is the most historic boulevard in the city and is off the West Overland Avenue.

Walking around the Civic Center Plaza
The Civic Center Plaza is an important part of El Paso. A lot of very modern buildings have been constructed here, in the very heart of the city centre. These structures include the Visitors Center, the Williams Convention Center and the Abraham Chavez Theater. Nearby, if you want to see some good American and 'Tex Mex' paintings, check out the Museum of Art.
