Oklahoma City Museums

(Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - OK, USA)

With a rich and sometimes harrowing history, Oklahoma City now commemorates its wealthy heritage at its selection of acclaimed museums. From tracing the state's Native American beginnings as marked Indian Territory to the days of the city's oil boom, Oklahoma City's museums give an insight into the land scrambles that took place here in the late 1800s, as well as the Depression that hit the city in the 1930s.

However, not all of the cultural attractions in Oklahoma City are history based, with the Omniplex offering more contemporary experience, probing into space and science, while the 45th Infantry Division Museum provides an intriguing military slant.
