Opening Hours

Most shops are open seven days a week, while some are only open six days a week depending on the time of year and area of town. Usual opening hours for shops in Key West are from 10:00 to 21:00 from Monday to Saturday, and 12:00 to 18:00 on Sundays.


Shopping Centers

The majority of shopping centers in Key West are located in the New Town, including the hugely popular Key West Welcome Center, while the Old Town is mainly given over to family traders and street vendors.

Originally the biggest business on the island, cigar making is still practiced here. You cannot buy Cuban cigars in Key West, but you can acquire cigars made from home grown Cuban seeds.
