Excellant biking venue
I went to Daytona Bike Week 2010, an amazing place. Take it steady traveling or resting during the day and party all night. Excellant bands on in all bars on Main Street, Highway To Hell in the Boot Hill Saloon, if your into the group AC/DC this tribute band is spot on. The whole area I travelled around in Daytona was brilliant, from the people to the service. I'm going back in 2012. Once you've been, you want to go back again and again.

Bandshell in Daytona
The Daytona Beach Bandshell is a real symbol of the city and is part of the Oceanfront Park Complex. The structure itself is now on the US National Register of Historical Sites and dates back to 1938. It is very ornate and is made out of Atlantic coquina rock. Free concerts are regularly staged here. The Clocktower is close by. Nice views.

Daytona Beach and the Inlet Lighthouse - quite a climb!
It might be quite a climb to the top of the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, but you've gotta go for it, haven't you? The answer to that really is yes you do. You'll only regret if you don't and your weary legs will soon recover once you are distracted by the coastal views. The lighthouse was built in 1886 and is around 50 meters tall. Quite a big one!
