Denver Museums

(Denver, Colorado - CO, USA)

Denver is well-known for its multitude of museums and for being the cultural center of the mid-West, and the city has worked hard over the last few decades to promote itself as such. Now a diverse selection of world-class museums are dotted around the city, documenting local history from the days of the Native Americans to the 'Wild West', along with stories of Denver's large immigrant population, including Hispanic, Asian history and culture.

Museums in Denver are packed with authentic artifacts and other relics presented in innovative ways, including interactive exhibits and activities specifically designed with children in mind. The Museo de las Americas comes highly recommended and although relatively small, is packed with displays relating to Latino Americano culture and art, and even includes a reconstruction of an actual Aztec pyramid.
