Wow - Go To The Taliesin West - a Frank LLoyd Wright Creation
The Taliesin West was created by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright and actually served as his home in the winter. It was built in the middle of the 1930s, but almost looks like it was built this decade. It is very funky and modern looking, and the garden room was flooded with natural light - it must have been wonderful living here. The buildings were actually built by Wright's Scottsdale students, which made it all the more interesting. It is still in use as a school today, and so some of the rooms are not open to the public, shame. I liked the Sunken Garden and the desert views. Guided tours vary greatly in price - from just over $10 to almost $50.

Lesbian Bars
I just wanted to comment on how there is only one gay bar in downtown Scottsdale. However, it seems to be for the Gay Men only crowd.
Where are the Lesbian Social Clubs to go to in Scottsdale?
How is it that gay men are accepted into the community, but not lesbians.
