The city of Mesa is fairly large and it does come with quite a selection of hotels, many of which are based around the city center and close by. Further accommodation options reside in neighboring Tempe and to the northwest, in nearby Scottsdale.

For lodging in downtown Mesa itself, West Main Street is a good place to begin searching for hotels. There are a number of familiar accommodation brands within this part of the city, such as the Best Western Mezona Inn, which is just a minute or two from the Arizona Museum of Youth.

Close to the Best Western is a Travelodge and a Budget Inn, suiting those looking for cheap lodging rates and basic rooms. Head a little further to the west, along Main Street, and you will soon reach the Citrus Inn, the Knights Inn, the Kiva Lodge, the Trave-Leers Motel and the Clarion Inn, in that order.

Where to Stay

For travelers wishing to stay close to the Mesa Convention Center and the Centennial Center, the Phoenix Marriott on the North Centennial Way is a sensible choice. The Marriott resides within the Glenwood Historic District and comes with a well-equipped fitness center, a large heated outdoor swimming pool and some 275 guest rooms, boasting regular five-star reviews online.

On the southern side of Mesa, cheap accommodation is to be found awaiting on the Superstition Freeway (US-60). Here, both the Super 8 and the Jaffotel Hotel stand to one side of Emerald Park. Close to the junction with the South Country Club Drive, further lodging on the Superstition Freeway comes in the form of the Days Hotel, the Holiday Inn and Suites, the Motel 6, and the Quality Inn and Suites, all of which are within close proximity of the family orientated Golfland Sunsplash attraction.

Take a short drive to the west and you will discover a noticeable cluster of hotels grouped around the Fiesta Lakes Golf Club, just across from the Fiesta Mall shopping center. These include much-favored accommodation chains such as Courtyard, Hilton, La Quinta and Residence Inn.
