The nearest airport to the Grand Canyon is situated in nearby Tusayan, 7 miles / 11 km to the south of Grand Canyon Village. Situated on the south side of Tusayan, the Grand Canyon Airport operates many daily flights to the Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS).

A regular shuttle bus departs from the Grand Canyon Airport in Tusayan each hour, traveling to the Grand Canyon Village. Bus fares are reasonably priced, although entrance fees to the Grand Canyon National Park are not included. A number of car rental companies are also situated at Tusayan / Grand Canyon Airport, providing one of the most useful and convenient ways to travel around the area.
Many of the flights available at the airport also fly over the Grand Canyon itself. A number of companies also operate specific air tours of the Grand Canyon, including reasonably-priced tours in both planes and helicopters.
