Fairbanks Golf Courses and Clubs

(Fairbanks, Alaska - AK, USA)

Fairbanks may not be the capital of the Alaskan golf scene, but it does offer a couple of popular courses within driving distance of the city. Particularly close by and roughly a ten-minute drive from the city center is the Fairbanks Golf and Country Club, which is connected via the Airport Way US-3 and the University Avenue, and located just to the north of the University of Alaska campus.

A little further afield is the North Star Club, which lies on the city's northeasterly outskirts and can be reached in just under 15 minutes, by taking the State Highway US-2 and then the Old Steese Highway. The North Star is considerably larger and much younger, being the northernmost USGA (United States Golf Association) course in America.
