Offering an enormous range of recreational activities, both indoor and out, the Jasper Activity Center comprises a large hall, the Jasper Arena and outdoor playing fields. With tennis courts, an impressive skate park, ice skating, curling, squash, weights and more, the center also hosts many notable events throughout the year.

Local mountain guides lead the way with regular walking tours through the beautiful scenery of the Jasper National Park, where indigenous wildlife can be observed. Operated throughout the year, guided walking tours last around half a day and appeal to a range of ages and walking abilities. Various packages are available, where different parts of the park are explored, including the Columbia Icefields and the Maligne Valley. Horse riding and fishing is also on offer in this area.

Standing in the center of Jasper, on the corner of the Pyramid Lake Road and Bonhomme Street, the Jasper Fitness and Aquatic Centre features a 25-meter / 82-foot swimming pool, a shallow pool, a hot tub and also a steam room. Close to the Jasper Activity Center, other attractions here include a diving board, swimming lessons, water-based activities, an outside patio area and a climbing wall.
