Turtle River Park is an attractive town park not far from the Island Village attraction, and resides right in town. The park is lush and well manicured, and is perhaps the perfect alternative to the beach scene in Ocho Rios. Turtle River Park gets its name from the river that runs through it, Turtle River, and for the many turtles that reside in it. This is a great place for a picnic lunch, being conveniently located close to the downtown action.
