Re. Not religious but this was great
There is a lovely park next to it too. Those interested in this kind of thing may also wish to pay the Metropolitan Cathedral. It hasn't won awards for nothing!

Not religious but this was great
I was informed that the Santuario Dom Bosco was among Brazil's first temples, which made it worth checking out. I think that even those without much interest in religions can still enjoy this fine building. There is a great view of the capital from it too.

Re. Beautiful and modern - just like Brasilia
Gutted! I had to pay for my tour. It wasn't much though. Maybe he wasn't even an official guide! Still enjoyed it though. Did you check out the national congress house? It was made by the same guy who made the cathedral. Wonderful stuff.

Beautiful and modern - just like Brasilia
For me the Itamaraty Palace sums Brasilia up in a nutshell. New and modern yet also beautiful. Who would've thought a government building would be so intriguing? Nothing at all to pay for the tour conducted by friendly locals either!

A wonderful memorial
I couldn't help but feel that this president must have meant a lot t the Brazilians given the splendour of this memorial. There is a park next to it and lovely modern architecture that fits in with the rest of the general vibe in Brasilia. The staff were lovely too and spoke impeccable English.
