Cordoba Videos and YouTube Movies

(Cordoba, Andalucia, Spain)

Situated within the autonomous community of Andalucia, the city of Cordoba offers visitors an interesting Arabic, Iberian and Roman past, with a number of ancient architectural remains being found within the Old Town area - now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Historians widely believe that this city was actually the largest in the world during the 10th century, in terms of overall population, although today it is more of a medium-sized Spanish city and a far-cry from its metropolis status of yesteryear.

Various appealing cobblestone streets wind their way around Old Town Cordoba, with the alleyways and courtyards being lined with enticing stores and cafes, and offering tantalising glimpses of the Bell Tower of the Mezquita Cathedral. The various eateries dotted around the Old Town district often have tables and chairs perched on the pavement outside, so that you can enjoy the rays of sunshine or the welcomed shade of a parasol as you partake of a mid-morning coffee and pastry.

Although Cordoba will always be known for its important Roman heritage, it is also a relatively modern city in parts. The railway station resides on the Avenida de America, on the northern side of the city centre, where high-speed AVE and RENFE trains connect some of Spain's biggest tourist cities, such as Madrid, Malaga and Seville.

On this page we have consolidated a group of video clips from YouTube as a further resource to those contemplating visiting Cordoba and its surrounding area. In addition to promotional tourist board films there are videos depicting the experiences of actual visitors to the city showing the feature landmarks and attractions, such as the Roman Bridge, the Mezquita, the Old Town and the Calleja de las Flores.
