Dingle Hotels and Accommodation

(Dingle, County Kerry, Republic of Ireland)

Harbour photoLodging in Dingle ranges from hostels and bed and breakfasts (B&Bs), to guest houses, townhouses, pub accommodation and traditional Irish cottages in the country. Prices for hotels within this town are generally very reasonable and you can book most hotels online.

The best thing about Dingle is that, wherever you stay, nothing is too far away as the town is comparatively small and compact. Options include the harbourfront, nearby main streets which contain most hotels, and farther out within the scenic Dingle Peninsula proper.

Where to Stay

Those looking for entertainment and some fun would be best staying at one of the popular pubs that offer lodging. There are several of them in the town, with Main Street, John Street and harbourside Strand Street having the best selection and providing a competitive alternative to local hotels.

Murphy's Pub near the pier has great rooms, food and music year-round, while Dingle Pub in the town centre is also right up there with the best.

Rather more expensive is the Ballintaggart House Hotel, an impressive mansion with bags of history and stunning views of the bay, Valentia Island and also the Skellig Rocks.

Cheaper rooms in the Dingle area can be had at the Mount Brandon Hostel (at the base of the Brandon Mountain) and Moan Laur B&B (between Inch and Brandon Bay), both of which reside in the outlying countryside and are just a short distance from the town itself.
