July and August always tend to be the hottest months in Gyor, when temperatures have been known to soar to 30°C / 86°F, although more usually average 26°C / 79°F.

There is always plenty to do in and around Gyor, regardless of the time of year and weather. This is particularly so in nearby Budapest, which lies to the east and makes for a popular day trip from Gyor.
