Go inside Gyor Cathedral
Don't just look at Gyor Cathedral from the outside - go inside. It is usually very quiet and so there is a chance that you might have the whole cathedral to yourself, for a few minutes any rate. The weekly Sunday service here is a big event.

The Marian Column (The Virgin and Child)
This tall column stands on a central market square and it depicts the baby Jesus and his mother, the Virgin Mary. It is very, very tall so there's every chance that you'll spot it at some stage or other.

Gyor Cathedral - inside and out, very quiet
There is a relatively new attraction here, which was recently added as part of a celebration of 1000 years of Christianity - a beautifully carved sculpture next to the main entrance.
