Where to Stay

Hanley is where many of Stoke on Trent's most central hotels reside, being close to the shops, restaurants and nightlife. Visitors often choose to stay in the Hanley area simply because of its proximity to the railway station, with B&Bs, guest houses and similar lodging close by, on Copeland Street, Glebe Street and Leek Road, next to Staffordshire University.

Directly across from Stoke on Trent's railway station, the North Stafford Hotel on Winton Square is known for its weekend reductions. Some 15 minutes to the north, the Quality Hotel on Trinity Street is especially notable and features inexpensive accommodation, an indoor swimming pool, a recently refurbished restaurant and good access to both the Regent Theatre and Victoria Hall.

Close by and on Festival Way, off Hope Street and Black Horse Lane, the Best Western Plus - Stoke on Trent Moat House is another reliable hotel boasting four stars, luxury accommodation, historic architecture and a convenient central location, next to Festival Park, the Stoke ski centre and Waterworld.
