Burrington Combe Inn
Sometimes if we're good, my mum and dad take my brother and me to Burrington Combe for Sunday lunch. Inside Burrington Combe's restaurant it's very warm and welcoming, you have a choice of turkey, lamb, pork or beef - it's great! I think the food is really worth the money and it tastes yummy. For pudding there is chocolate fudge cake, carrot cake, lemon meringue and coffee cake!

Weston Super-Mare Pier
I was wondering what the pier would be like after the other one burned down, and the new one is much, much better! I didn't know what to expect from many of the rides, but all seemed to surprisingly please more than needed. If you are in a large group of people, then go on the go karts to have a competition with everyone, although you might need to queue for five or ten minutes. If in a two, then try out the robot hand or ghost train. This is good on a wet day. However, some of the rides are quite expensive £3 to £5 each.

Winter Picnics
I love coming to Weston Super Mare in the winter. We park up on the seafront and have a picnic in the car. The views are great and you can often see horses on the beach, or people walking their dogs. It can be extremely windy though, but that's all part of the fun! We usually go for a walk along the promenade afterwards, but always wrap up well.

Weston Super Mare Pier
The pier at Weston is the biggest attraction in all senses. It is huge, and in the summer, hundreds of people come here for traditional seaside fun. The amusements at the end of the pier is more like a mini theme park. It has bumper cars, a big wheel (quite a small one), a big soft play centre, tenpin bowling and even a ghost train. We we came here, Anthony Head was actually in front of us on the ghost train and was really nice when my daughter spotted him.

Sealife Aquarium - if you've got nothing else to do
The Sealife Aquarium at Weston Super Mare is Ok if you've really got nothing else to do, but isn't anything great and it is quite expensive. It is on the beachfront on its own little pier. They've made it feel much bigger than it actually is by sending you around a maze of pathways inside, so that you see the same exhibits from almost every angle possible. Having said all that, my kids loved it, but myself, I've seen much better.
