Eastbourne Shopping and Districts
(Eastbourne, East Sussex, England, UK)
Although Eastbourne may not provide the same shopping experience and concentration as the neighbouring seaside resort of
Brighton and Hove, and even the Kent town of Royal Tunbridge Wells, it certainly does deliver with regards to retail opportunities. However, Eastbourne is a little different to most traditional seaside towns, since it has only a handful of shops actually fronting the beach.
Shopping in Eastbourne comes in the form of indoor malls, high-street stores, retail parks and outdoor markets, held each Tuesday and Saturday at the Langley Shopping Centre, on Kingfisher Drive. Most visitors will find that the centrally located Arndale Centre on Terminus Road is particularly convenient, where a total of 80 different outlets are all housed together, under one roof.
Where to Shop
