Brighton ShoppingShopping in the thriving seaside resort of Brighton is a popular activity for summer holiday makers and this city is home to many hundreds of independently owned stores, which are in good supply along Queen's Road and North Street / Western Road (B2066).

There are also a number of specialist shops in Brighton, including jewellers and art galleries, together with boutiques selling fashionable clothing. Familiar high-street names include Bonmarche, New Look and Dorothy Perkins, all of which are located on George Street. The city has several main shopping districts, a number of large centres and many smaller precincts.

Most shops in Brighton open seven days a week, throughout the year, opening around 09:00 until 17:30 or later. On Sunday, opening hours are generally shorter than the rest of the week.

The Brighton Marina is the largest marina in the United Kingdom and includes Jackson's Wharf and the Pagoda. With excellent shopping facilities, factory outlet stores, a hypermarket, harbourside bars, cafés and restaurants, the Marina is also home to superb entertainment facilities, such as tenpin bowling, a multi-screen cinema, a casino, regular boat trips, markets, craft fairs, street entertainers and many seasonal events.

Regent Arcade Shopping Centre

Regent Arcade Shopping Centre is situated in The Lanes area of Brighton, within easy reach from the city centre. Filled with a large number of shops, high-street brands, numerous fashion boutiques and clothes stores for both men and women, the Regent Arcade also contains a number of gift shops and cafés.

Located in the heart of Brighton, the Churchill Square Shopping Centre is regarded as one of the best in this part of England. Recently rebuilt and modernised, Churchill Square features stylish architecture, state-of-the-art facilities and a spacious mall interior. With almost 100 shops, including a number of enormous department stores, other highlights include a crèche area, cafés, restaurants and a car park. The centre is conveniently located close to Brighton train station and is within easy walking distance.
