Monkey World at Swanage
My Welsh grandma took my brother my aunt my grandad and me to Monkey World in Swanage for the day. It was loads of fun looking at all the different types of monkeys and hearing all the information about them. I quite liked them orangutans, the gibbons and the lemurs, although my favourites were the capuchin monkeys!

My favourite of all the things at Monkey World was definitely the playground. When I went on it, I got scared so my aunt came up. Then a man taught me how to climb it and I wasn't scared anymore. It was funny watching my aunt go down the slide though! I think this is a great attraction, but I think you should only go when it is sunny.

Re. The best castle in southern England
Next time you can take Swanage railway just half a mile from the town centre. It is so scenic and passes the castle while also connecting you to other parts of Dorset if you wish to visit them.

The best castle in southern England
The main point of our trip to Swanage was to visit Corfe Castle. We ventured just over four and a half miles from our bed and breakfast in the town centre and arrived there early morning. I recommend giving yourself plenty of time to explore as there is 1,000 years' worth of history there. Next time I'd like to leave the car in the town and use other means of transport.

Re. Brilliantly set up park
Next time you're there, check out Cumulus Outdoor Events. They usually have plenty going on in and around Swanage. Sometimes the events are even in Durlston Country Park itself. Enjoy!

Brilliantly set up park
It was a nice stroll of less than a mile from our Swanage town centre hotel to Durlston Country Park. I have to commend the organisers for having it well set-up and there are lovely views of the area to be enjoyed as well as some of its best wildlife. The lighthouse is one of this region's most famous landmarks. Could have been a few more activities though.

An afternoon of art in a lovely little English town
As French art lover can be difficult to impress me but I was in love with L'Artishe Gallery and Studio. It's great even if you didn't buy anything and there has exhibits of modern art or grafts. You can talk to owners no problem. They are friendly!
