Where to Eat

Close to the beachfront, you will find everything from fast-food and Greek dishes, to European cuisine and British-style fare. Tourists wishing to stick to simple food will find classical steak and chips easy to come by in most resorts on Cyprus. Typical fast-food restaurants in Limassol come in the form of Burger King, McDonald's, Nando's, Pizza Hut and TGI Fridays, amongst others.

The more touristy the cafe or restaurant, the higher the prices are likely to be. Traditional kebab houses in Limassol provide a good source for cheap eats, while foodies looking for fine seafood dining should consider a meal at the Trata Fish Tavern on the Ioanni Tompazi, which is near to the Ermes Olympia department store.

For something a little cheaper in Limassol, consider the colourful Cypriot taverns on the Agkuras, the Attikis and the Tzamiou, or the plentiful pubs on the Yermasoyia tourist strip. Some restaurants offer only dinner, from around 19:00 onwards, while others serve lunch as well. Shoppers at the recently opening Tiffany Mall will find lots of choice, should they require a bite to eat, with a designated food courtyard area and all-day cafes.
