One Named Peter One Named Paul
Every local I spoke to in Osijek beamed whenever SS Peter and Paul Cathedral was brought up in conversation and it is definitely an impressive building. Close to other attractions due to it being right in the heart of Osijek centre and easy to find.

Re. Osijek's Newest Attraction
We went a few months after you did babe, so I can tell you that both floors are now open! They've also got a cinema, bowling, and loads of restaurants too! At the rate it is going, they reckon it will be the biggest in Croatia soon!

Osijek's Newest Attraction
Ok, so some people might scoff at a shopping centre being described as an attraction but the organisers of Portanova actually refer to it as a destination! Only one floor was open when I went there but I imagine things should be in full swing now. Great shopping at discount prices with all the big names represented.

Re. Rural and Ambient
Big fan of Josic Wine Cellar too. Did you have a chance to sit down at the restaurant they have on the premises? Definitely the best meal I had in Osijek anyway and of course the wine I washed it down with was top notch as well.

Rural and Ambient
My wife and I never need much encouraging when it comes to visiting wineries and have been to some of the world's best in the likes of Napa Valley and Australia. I must say though that the Josic Wine Cellar and its produce will always be the first thing I mention when asked about Slovenia and Croatia.
