Re. The Rainforest Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary
We did the same trip and loved it but we took one of the guided tours, which are free. Our guide told us that there are also presentations but we didn't have time to wait and go to one. We saw a lot of fish in the Wetlands where they were trying to catch fish.

The Rainforest Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary
As nature enthusiasts the wildlife sanctuary was just what we were looking for. When we arrived we went for a walk along the boardwalk to the canopy and we were lucky enough to spot a range of different local bird species. As an extra bonus there are exhibits where we fed kangaroos and saw crocodiles.

Cattle Station
We stopped for lunch at the Australian Muster Experience and got to learn more about everyday life on a cattle station. The barbeque lunch was delicious and we enjoyed the views of Port Douglas. There was even live music!

A day of sailing
We took a cruise on a sailing catamaran with 23 other guests. It was a relaxing day and we enjoyed snorkeling, sun tanning and swimming. The lunch was delicious and it was easy to fit into our schedule because there are cruises everyday.

Relax on the golf course
I've traveled a lot in the area and I think that Port Douglas has an amazing golf course. It is well kept and I saw so many different types of birds. Afterwards I went to the clubhouse for lunch and a drink at the bar.
