Canberra MarketsThere are some really good markets peppered around the city of Canberra, being open during the week and also at the weekend. Located within the north-westerly suburb of Belconnen and close to the man-made Lake Ginninderra, the Belconnen Food and Fruit Market is a particular highlight and is just a short drive away from the University of Canberra campus.

Considerably more central is the Gorman House Arts and Crafts Market, which resides within the inner-suburb of Braddon, near Glebe Park, and is known for its crowds of eager bargain hunters. Elsewhere, further markets can be found in the neighbourhoods of both Fyshwick and Kingston, as well as at the nearby town of Hall, to the far north of the city.
