Re. Such a rush
So glad that you had such a blast at Big Rush Urban Adrenaline. Those that are young at heart and are travelling with their children could also try uShaka Marine World as it sells itself on being suitable for kids and adults alike. The water park and its slides are simply not to be missed!

Such a rush
I felt like a kid again at the Big Rush Urban Adrenaline theme park, and my wife even ended up giving me a bit of a ticking off at one point for being more enthused than our teenage children! Because of this, I recommended this attraction to thrill seekers of all ages!

Durban's most interesting attraction
I won't pretend to have known much about Sir Marshall Campbell, the famous sugar baron, before I visited Durban, but I am definitely a lot more knowledgeable on the kind of life he had and enjoyed after visiting the Campbell Collections. My wife loved the furniture the most, in addition to the clothing Campbell wore and the art he hung on his walls.

Plenty to do in the stadium
After the adrenaline theme park, the water parks, and then a trip to Moses Mabhida Stadium, I couldn't help but feel that Durbanites - if that's what you call them? - are among South Africa's biggest thrill seekers. I recommend the SkyCar ride that takes you to the peak of the arch. The 500 step walk to the platform can be challenging though!

Upmarket coastal village
We decided to rent an off-roader on the recommendation of a friend before then venturing 15 km out of Durban to Umhlanga Rocks. I've never seen such an upmarket coastal village - even in Australia - and the beach was idyllic in addition to being well-maintained. The shops are a little pricey, but there are more than enough amenities to choose from.
