Williamsburg Art Galleries

(Williamsburg, Virginia - VA, USA)

The city of Williamsburg supports a thriving arts community and some excellent art galleries. Particularly noteworthy is the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Center on West Francis Street, which is the first of its kind in the country to concentrate solely on American folk art and stands alongside the DeWitt Wallace Decorative Arts Museum, where visitors will discover unique collections of period furniture and British pottery.

Located next to the Phil Beta Kappa Memorial Hall, the galleries at the Muscarelle Museum of Art in Williamsburg are home to more traditional portraits from the UK and the US, as well as a fine collection of Native American ceramics.
