This unique and delightful museum is an exciting interactive attraction for children and families. Children from the ages of one to ten are catered for with a variety of hands-on exhibits that test their creative powers and ignite their curiosity. Most of the exhibits at the Greensboro Children's Museum focus on a town theme, with tasks such as using an ATM and driving a fire truck among the most popular with the kids.

Promoting and displaying the excellent works of Native American artists, Greensboro's Guilford Native American Art Gallery houses a stunning array of art works, both traditional and contemporary. Complementing the permanent exhibition is a series of temporary displays of works by both local and national Native American artists, held throughout the year. The Art Gallery also features a quality gift shop and café, and is a part of the Greensboro Cultural Center at Festival Park.

Greensboro Historical Museum

The Greensboro Historical Museum documents the history of the greater Piedmont region since its settlement by Europeans, through the Civil War and until modern times. Housed in two renovated historic buildings, the exhibits include old pistols and rifles, merchandise, photographs, and even a restored Model T Ford. In the grounds of the museum is an interesting cemetery, where a number of historically important people are buried.
Open hours: Tuesday to Saturday - 10:00 to 17:00, Sunday - 14:00 to 17:00. Closed on holidays, except the Fourth of July.
