Kansas City - hundreds of fountains, well 200 at least
Yes, there really are more than 200 different public fountains dotted around the city. They seem to be everywhere and if you want to search out the best ones, you can now get a free leaflet listing them with pictures so that you know what you are looking out for.

Uptown Theater in Kansas City
The Uptown Theater on Broadway was built in the late 1920s and was originally used for vaudeville shows, which I understand Bop Hope was once a part of. A while ago it underwent a much needed multi-million dollar facelift and it now ranks as one of Missouri's finest of its kind.
