You will also find a particularly dense cluster of motels based around the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport (ICT), along the Highway US-54 and the Interstate I-235.

Falling within the mid-range lodging category, the Hotel at Oldtown stands along 1st Street and is well worth looking out for, since it is literally just a stroll from the restaurants and attractions within downtown Wichita, such as the River City Brewery and the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame. Also very much of note is the three-star Hyatt Regency on West Waterman, which stands alongside the Arkansas River and the Century II Performing Arts and Convention Center.
