The capital of Kansas state, Topeka is known for its variable climate, which sees noticeable variations in both its temperatures and rainfall, throughout the year, as well as changeable sunny and windy weather.

With a climate described as being humid continental, Topeka enjoys rather hot and humid summer months, followed by a cold and generally quite dry winter season.
