Re: World Heritage Site
Did you check out the names of the streets? 'Needle and Thread Alley' and 'Featherbed Alley' were my favourite! So cute! I also really liked King's square. This place is very accurately names a world heritage site, one of the best!

World Heritage Site
St. George is a UNESCO world Heritage site; boasting old, architecturally pleasing streets to be in awe of. On vacation here I felt truly honored to be walking down these fancy named streets and basking in colonial glory. Kings square is the place to get an accurate feel of the place.

Kings Square
The original main square, Kings square, is where a lot of the main attractions of St. George are. Head to the town Hall or Ordinance Island across a little bridge, worth checking out. If you are there during the high season make sure you check out the actors lining the street and acting as town criers. Makes for an eventful and funny thing to witness.

Re: Things to do in St. George
Thanks for the heads up, Greame. I will be heading there in May and I like to do the cultural things on offer. I also love riding scooters so will be sure to make the most of the freedom this supplies and make my own tour of the city. What kind of food is there in The White Horse? Sounds like a British pub, haha.

Things to do in St. George
I have a few suggestions for anyone frequenting the city of S George. Firstly, to Tuger Bay and the Tucker House Museum. I would take a tour, this way you get plenty of historical information which is needed to understand this interesting place. You could also rent a scooter and buzz around on your own. For dinner make sure you do not miss the White Horse in King's Square; tasty stuff.
