Bridgetown is a fantastic city to visit regardless of the time of year. The island sees upwards of 3,000 hours of sunshine throughout the year. There are two distinct seasons in Bridgetown. While scarce, rain falls later in the year, but temperatures remain constant. Trade winds from the north-east keep the climate relatively moderate throughout the year, and it's rare to see the mercury rise as far as 32°C / 90°F. Instead, you will find that the temperature at the beach typically rests in the 80s during most of the year.

The best time to visit Bridgetown is during the dry season, which lasts from January until June. The average daytime temperature is in the high 80s during this time - perfect weather for lazy days on the beach. Cooling trade winds out of the north can make it hard to notice that you're getting a sunburn, so be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen and drink plenty of water.

The small amount of rain that falls in Bridgetown does so from July to December. The climate is still pleasant most of the time, but this is hurricane season, so fewer tourists come to Barbados. November is the rainiest month, although when it does actually rain, you can expect the clouds to disperse relatively quickly. Even during this time of year, ample sunshine comes as standard. Those 3,000 hours of sunshine are totally reliable.
