Agapey Chocolate Factory
Kids and their mother loved this. I liked the old European chocolate making machines that they had. Riveting stuff.

Great chocolate and tour
We visited the Agapey Chocolate Factory and took the tour, which helped us learn more about the history of chocolate in Barbados and the life story of one of its most creative entrepreneurs. Very cheap entry and had a wonderful local guide.

Re. The soothing South Coast
You may also try Foul Bay if you hadn't already. Has a fantastic beach and lovely bodies of water while also being easy to access.

The soothing South Coast
Coming from a town with a pier, I have always been fond of them. The South Coast Boardwalk in Bridgetown is great and it was one of the most soothing strolls I've ever had with plenty of places to stop-off on the way whenever not starting straight into the ocean.

The old rum factory
Love rum and the Caribbean, plus the chance to learn more about Barbados' history and its sugar refineries could just not be turned down. Also has a 'Heritage Park' for relaxing or outdoor activities. Worth renting a car for the day just to get there and back.
