Swansea Tourist Attractions and Sightseeing

(Swansea, West Glamorgan, South Wales, UK)

Picture of entrance to the marinaFrom cruises around Swansea Bay and fishing trips from the marina, to roaring crowds at the Liberty Stadium and simply sunbathing on one of the city's many sandy beaches, expect the unexpected when it comes to tourist attractions in the Swansea area of Wales. Whilst there are the fairly usual and predictable tourist attractions on offer in Swansea, such as musicals, concerts and other shows at the Swansea Grand Theatre, the Dylan Thomas Theatre and the Patti Pavilion, more unusual tourist attractions include Plantasia, a centrally located giant hothouse filled with exotics, and the educational Environment Centre, where you are able to learn how to be more green.

The Gower Peninsula is always worth exploring and exciting power-boat trips depart from the Swansea Marina and zoom around this area, while a more leisurely cruise past the many attractions on the South Gower coastline is equally appealing and memorable.
