Full of Spanish history and heritage, many of the museums in Malaga celebrate the area's past, containing local artefacts and relics. Particularly popular with families visiting the city, the Science Centre, known locally as the Centro de Ciencia Principia, appeals to children of all ages, with many interactive displays and fascinating exhibitions.

Other popular exhibit spaces in the city include the Antonio Ordonez Bullfighting Museum at the Plaza de Toros La Malagueta, and the Museum of the Sea (Museo Acuario Aula del Mar) - which features displays about sailing and fishing.

Celebrating the life of famous matador Antonio Ordonez, the Bullfighting Museum is part of Malaga's striking Plaza de Toros La Malagueta (La Malagueta Bullring). This popular museum features many historic and colorful matador costumes, photographs, old bullfighting posters and a wealth of interesting exhibits relating to Spanish bullfighting.

Centro de Ciencia Principia (Science Centre)

Museo de la Cofradia de La Esperanza (Museum of the Cofradia of the Hope)
