Dundee Airport (DND) Information
(Dundee, Scotland, UK)
This Scottish airport has stood on the same section of reclaimed Firth of Tay land since the early 1960s. Today, this small riverside hub, near both Dundee University and the Dundee Technology Park, still serves Scotland's fourth-biggest city. Passengers can easily see the Tay Rail Bridge, one of the city's best known landmarks, as they enter the grounds.
Dundee Airport's annual passenger throughput hovers around the 75,000 mark. CityJet flights to London City Airport, Flybe flights to
Birmingham and
Belfast, and Blue Islands seasonal charter flights to
Jersey are currently the only direct flights handled here.
It takes just minutes to travel between the airport and the city centre along the A85, the closest thoroughfare. Although passengers cannot travel directly by train or bus, car hire and taxis can both be used to easily reach the city's main rail and bus stations.
